Kindergarten

“Give me Children until they are Seven and anyone may have them afterwards”

Inspired by our Patron ST. FRANCIS XAVIER, We give Special attention to KIDS CORNER- Early Children Education. We have created a curriculum that blends with creativity, individuality, Self -awareness, curiosity, inquisitive, appreciation and respect.
Kindergarten includes- Pre- Nursery, Nursery, LKG & UKG. The Syllabus for each group has been designed for a life long process

Healthcare

St. Xavier’s school has an infirmary with experienced and trained Para-medical staff to attend to the medical needs of students. Doctors routinely visit the campus to examine student’s general health and dentition. In case of emergency/sickness the students are taken to the nearby hospitals. If any students admitted in a hospital the parents / guardians will be informed.

  • Boarders must report their sickness to their respective wardens if they wish to see a physician; a record of such requests will be entered in their medical file.
  • All students are compulsorily required to undergo an annual medical and dental check-up.
  • Students are mandatorily required to fill out a confidential medical record form at the time of admission giving details of any pre-existing condition; parents also required to sign an indemnity waiver while admitting their children to the school.
STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO KEEP MEDICATION OF ANY DESCRIPTION IN THEIR OWN POSSESSION. VIOLATION MAY LEAD TO EXPULSION.

Food And Nutrition

St.Xavier’s school students are provided balanced meals designed and planned by professional dieticians with special emphasis on meeting the health and nutritional needs of growing children.

Students with special dietary needs can be catered to, upon request by parents at the time of admission. Food allergies, if any, must be notified to the school authorities at the time of admission. Students suffering from ailments are provided specially cooked meals in accordance with the recommendation of the physician.

Stocking of edibles in dormitories is prohibited. Parents may bring eatables for their children when they visit but these must be consumed on the same day and under no circumstances may they be stored. School campus is a plastic free zone. No eatables to be brought in plastics. Only fresh fruits, nuts & health drinks are allowed.

Hostel Accommodation

Basic but comfortable dormitories with common bathrooms with 24 hours running water. Students of varying age groups are teamed up to simulate an ambience of siblings in a close-knit family and while lady teachers supervise the girls’ hostel, male teachers are responsible for the boys’ lodgings. Two resident teachers, one a warden, another, an assistant warden are responsible for each hostel. In addition a student warden is entrusted with ensuring total compliance with norms governing boarders. Strict discipline in terms of hygiene, sanitation and adherence to schedules are maintained in hostels. In addition inspections by the Administrator & surprise checks are also carried out from time to time.
